Revolution RT-PCA20-201C PCA Alumina Tank 4-Pack (Original Alcan, with Ladders) – N Gauge
Revolution RT-PCA20-201C PCA Alumina Tank Wagon 4 Pack – N Gauge
This Revolution Trains N Gauge pack represents the British Alcan PCA alumina tank wagons used on traffic between North Blyth and Fort William.
This pack is finished in Original Alcan condition, complete with ladders, and includes four uniquely numbered wagons: 55552, 55556, 55557, 55561.
Prototype Background
The prototype PCA powder tanks were built by Powell Duffryn in 1988 for alumina traffic to the aluminium smelter at Fort William. The Original Alcan livery reflects the fleet’s as-built condition during Alcan’s ownership of the Lochaber smelter, which ran from 1982 until the Rio Tinto takeover in 2007.
