This Revolution Trains N Gauge pack represents the British Alcan PCA alumina tank wagons used on traffic between North Blyth and Fort William.
This pack is finished in RioTintoAlcan condition, without ladders, and includes four uniquely numbered wagons: 55531, 55534, 55537, 55541.
Prototype Background
The prototype PCA powder tanks were built by Powell Duffryn in 1988 for alumina traffic to the aluminium smelter at Fort William. The RioTintoAlcan livery marks the fleet identity that followed Rio Tinto’s 2007 acquisition of Alcan, when the Lochaber smelter and its wagon fleet were rebranded under the merged company.
