Installation & Compatibility
Installation is simple—push the coupling shaft into a standard NEM socket until firmly seated.
- Suitable for most modern rolling stock with NEM pockets
- Not compatible with step-down connectors (e.g. Bachmann Mk1 coaches), as contact with the chassis may cause friction and reduce performance
Polarity Guidance
Correct polarity is essential for proper operation. Each coupling has a small moulded bolt indicator near the magnet.
- Align indicators consistently across your fleet so magnets attract rather than repel
- Use a standard orientation (e.g. all indicators facing the same side) for full compatibility between stock
