| Peco are pleased to announce the release of this brand new range of weathering powders, complementing their existing Pecoscene ballasts, coal, and scatters. These powders can transform the appearance of track to give the effect of dirt, grime and brake dust residues settling around the rails and track bed. They can also be used to weather rolling stock and buildings, toning-down their freshly-painted surfaces, creating a more realistic, natural look. The range features six powders, all perfect on their own for specific uses, but also ideal for blending to create a certain required colour. Once applied they can either be left as they are, or sealed with a suitable matt varnish. Supplied in handy screw-top tubs, to enable convenient and mess-free handling. This pack features a rusty brown powder representing deposits all around the track, on the underframes of rolling stock, and adding dirt on buildings and platform edges. | |
